ST52 Hollow Chrome Plated Rod ID Not Honed is manufactured from seamless ST52 (E355) steel tubes. It features a precision-ground chrome plated outer surface with a raw, non-honed inner diameter. This rod is an excellent choice for applications where the interior surface doesn’t require precision sealing or close tolerance.
The external surface is treated with hard chrome plating (20–30 μm) for excellent corrosion and wear resistance. Because the ID is not honed, production cost is lower, making this rod suitable for cost-sensitive projects or applications where the tube is used primarily as a structural support or low-friction guiding shaft.
This rod is often used as a Hollow chrome hydraulic bar in basic hydraulic applications, as well as a Hollow chrome suspension rod in mobile equipment.
